Dante’s Inferno is a third-person action-adventure game developed by Visceral Games (formerly EA Redwood Shores) and published by Electronic Arts, released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable. The game is loosely inspired by Inferno, the first book of Dante Alighieri’s epic poem, The Divine Comedy. The story of the game is written by Will Rokos and produced by Justin Lambros.

CryEngine 3 is a game engine released by Crytek on October 14, 2009. On March 11, 2009, Crytek announced that it would introduce CryEngine 3 at the 2009 Game Developers Conference, held from March 25 to March 27. The new engine is being developed for use on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. As for the PC platform, the engine is said to support development in DirectX 9, 10 and 11. Additional information and technical specifications have yet to be posted on Crytek’s Website.

Medal of Honor is an upcoming first-person shooter video game in the Medal of Honor series, developed by EA Los Angeles and DICE, due for release on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2010. The game will be a reboot of the series, set in modern-day Afghanistan. Medal of Honor’s single-player campaign will use a heavily-modified version of Unreal Engine 3 and its multiplayer will use the Frostbite engine. This game is expected to utilize dedicated servers as hinted by Sean Decker, General Manager at EA, in Atomic PC’s feature article.

EyePet is a game for the PlayStation 3, that Sony briefly teased at during the 2008 Games Convention in Leipzig, and officially announced at E3 in June 2009. EyePet was developed by London Studio^[3] and was released in Europe on 23 October 2009. It was originally scheduled to be released in the US on November 17, 2009 but this was later pushed back to the first half of 2010. Eyepet was released in Australia on 27 October 2009.

Motion Fighter (working title), known in Europe as Dukes, is an upcoming 2010 action fighting video game for the PlayStation 3, it will utilize the new PlayStation Move controllers. It was officially unveiled at the 2010 Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. Currently the game is only 20 percent complete.

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction is the fifth installment in the Splinter Cell video game series. The game is being developed by Ubisoft Montreal, developers of Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and the sixth generation versions of Splinter Cell: Double Agent. Key members of the Rainbow Six: Vegas team, such as creative director Maxime Béland, are also working on the game. Gameloft will also be creating a mobile version of the game for the iPhone OS.

SOCOM II: U.S. Navy SEALs is a third-person tactical shooter video game for the PlayStation 2 and a sequel to SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs. The game was developed by Zipper Interactive in collaboration with the Naval Special Warfare Command and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. SOCOM II was released on November 4, 2003.

Crysis is a science fiction first-person shooter video game developed by Crytek Frankfurt, published by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows, and released in November 2007. It is the first game of a trilogy. A separate game entitled Crysis Warhead was released on September 12, 2008, and follows similar events as Crysis but from a different narrative perspective. Crysis, Crysis Warhead and a multiplayer expansion called Crysis Wars were re-released as a compilation pack titled Crysis Maximum Edition on 5 May 2009.
